Moducell is a modular storage system that aims to encourage creative thinking while providing a functional value in daily life.

Background
As we grow older we tend to loose touch with some of our creative abilities. It can seem like a natural part of growing up but might it be because we live in a society where creativity isn’t given enough room? In this project i wanted to explore how an object can encourage creativity from adults while still providing a functional value in their daily life.

Result
A modular storage system made of ash wood, stainless steel and cork. The modules can be combined in a nearly infinite number of ways to create functional and compelling compositions. By simply providing the basic building blocks the user is left with the freedom to interact with the modules in a creative and functional way.
